Very nice mate 4.5ghz at 1.32v stable! Excellent i7 920 there - 4.6+ ghz HT on 3d capable ?
Thanks mate. I'm still getting a feel for water cooling and finishing the cable routing etc so just taking it slow at the moment. I'm yet to run 3DM 06 / Vantage at 4.6 HT on.

New PB in 05. Can't go higher, the board has run out of BCLK.

sweet but shame about max bclk, tried pci-e 101, 102, 103, 104, 105 etc ? Bump vdimm a tad too might help with looser tRFC at 110 and tFAW around 30-39

Hi All,

Noob to these forums

Could you guys with Rampage 2 Extremes please check this out for me... I've just yesterday got my new Rampage II Extreme motherboard and have been testing my overclock. Everything is going well (apart from the initial panic over only having 4GB ram showing instead of 6GB,) but I think either putting fibre washers under my VenomousX or upping Ram voltage cured that *fingers crossed.

Anyway I need to know a couple of things regarding the use of PWM fans on this board. I would like to know at what temps should the PWM fan speed up? My BIOS is set to Quiet fan (Standard) but....

1. The fan does not start to spin up sometimes until the CPU core temps (using Everest) reach 72C. Other times the fan will start to spin up at around 65C.

2. Is the fan supposed to run on max for 20 - 30 seconds after the CPU temps have dropped back down, because mine does.

Is the above normal please?
