Yeah i tend to keep my cards longer than most benchers - i get sentimental that way - same with ram

also fact that most my rigs are AGP based, so if i'm playing with more than one PCI-E board, i need more than one PCI-E card

question for you eva, what is the benefit of the HeavyH20 rev4 bios, has it improved your o/c on your 7800gtx and where did you get hold of it?

Nah clock is the same you need for stock 7800GTX to be able to do 500+40 to 524+40 stable before you can use HeavyH20 bios there's 2 versions one for 473+50/1350 if you card can't do >500+40 and a 500+50/1350 bios,

one of my cards maxes on stock bios at 526+40 while other maxes at 500+40 so for SLI i flashed both to 473+50/1350 bios to be safe

the +50 geometric gives a few more points clock for clock than original bios i.e.

Opteron 170 CCBWE 0546XPMW
DFI NF4 UT SLI-DR R.AB0 1114-3 bios
2x 256MB BFG 7800GTX SLI stock HSF with HeavyH20 stock bios set 473(525)/1350
2GB OCZ PC4000EB Platinum 3-3-2-8 rated ram
4x 80GB Hitachi 7K80 SATAII Raid 0 OS drive
1x 250GB Maxtor Maxline Plus II PATA
Pioneer DVD Burner
Floppy drive
510W PC Powercooling SLI PSU

WinXP Pro SP2
NF4 6.53WHQL chipset drivers
