Let me get this straight. The coil shown has what looks like capillary tubing inside is that the cascade condensor you are talking about kayl.
the 3 lengths of small tubbing is the condenser for the high pressure secondstage correct. the first stage freezes the larger tube. removing heat from the second stage in a cascade fassion

By C-BuZz
copper coil is the second stage condensor
looking forward to this build dude
Who's going the be the luckey new owner?
R507 & R1150?
C-BuZz

thaxs man. it gonna be slow but get there. First stage is gonna be r290 for now.
later when i get it charge ethier r404a/507 just depends on the day i get it done. And 2%r290 for oil return /1150 seconstage

T_M they will be really something when they are finished hey, you see
WIll be done over 3 months though and its gonna be real nice.
Picked up the oil separator today.
I also got a bunch of end caps, was gonna do copper tube oil separator but then cbuzz put me onto these.
I can use the copper tube and ends caps though for an expansion container if static pressure is too high.

k i will be using 2 of the smaller compressor.
this is just for show for a while.
will be a tower like case with a clear side window

hx is made up of 2 3m hx 1/4" inside 1/2" and the a 2m length of 1/4" inside of 1/2" with a suction line hx on the second stage before the 2 hxs to help out temps.

this is at least 2 month away before starting as alot of planning still to be done
the condenser will be ariving next week so i can plan the box, size etc.
I am also waiting on the design of a controller that will run the cascade saftly
higher pressure gauge on front pannel, and 2 temp display 4 readings. more spec can be fount in below information

Cascade
4 K type thermal probes
Start up/shut down by temps(HX and evap); fan headers
Keyboard included to control start up/shut down temps, setting thermal probes
20x2 lcd display
Comes in a 5 1/4 size case, face plate included
Serial connection, firmware upgradeable (future proof, adding features)
Failure control by "Advanced temp nurse" * *

*Continious reading of thermal probes, shut down phase change unit and computer if thermal probe reaches critical point (User configurable).
**Continious reading of HX and evap temps, shut down 2nd stage if HX temp reaches critical point (User configurable).
