CPU Temps-Voltages P45

I decided to put my Tech Station back in service for testing any hardware problems and tweaking older CPU's using a Biostar TPower I45. The first CPU up was an E6420. I have checked the Bios/LED readings using Everest and Speed Fan. CPU Core for 442x8 is 1.60 +- and the idle temps are 23c and loads up to 42c+-. There must a error in the temp reading due to a combination of the Chip Set and older CPU?

Thanks George, I have all the current versions of this software. I do not understand how the temps can be so low at idle and load temps @67% OC with Vcore 1.55 to 1.60 on Air. I am assuming there is a problem in the readings. Core Temp @idle is #0 27c #1 22c Real Temp is 32c and 37c
Speed Fan is #0 27c #1 22c. Of course I run all the temp software separately.

Hi Paul , i have the same problem as you on 2 older cpus , one its a E6600 wich seems to hover around 21c iddle and 38c Full load when oc , the other one its a E8400 wich its 26c iddle and 35c Full load oc. The temperature sensors on both of my cpus have gone wild lol , since temperatures here on the island of Puerto Rico are very high and those temps are impossible on air for me , that would make them at sub ambient temps ,i think you might have the same problem bro. Try intel TAT on that cpu it will work.

Angelo.

Hi Angelo, thanks downloaded but the results are the same, perhaps I should not sorry about it, I have touched all heat sinks and the CPU area and it seems normal, this Station Rig is for testing and making USB Flash Disks has been at these settings for hours, even ran MemTest with out any errors.

Angelo I swapped the E6420 for an E6850 and all the temps are normal to the voltages. Thanks again for pointing that out to me.
