Hard volt modding gtx 295

Hi guys is there any way of hard volt modding this card as i am doing it with EVGA software volt mod at the moment and well nothing beats hard modding,
i also have a gtx 260 (216 sp) jobby that could be hard modded if u guys can give me the know how.
only thing with evga volt mod is it maxes out at +.2 volt sp i can only take from 1.038 to 1.238 v
but i am doing this all on stock cooling as the gtx 295 being the sandwhich it is. I cant wait for the single pcb gtx 295 to roll out.:thumb:

There is a hardmod for it, but softmod works exactly the same. You can use software other than the evga one to get voltages higher. One good example would be voltage faktory. Truly though these cards will respond to lower temps better than more voltage. :thumb:

karmakazi is right on
sometimes softmodding can beat hard mods.
1.24 should be all you need for anything besides vantange runs on air.
cool that puppy down it will respond to cooling.

Yer i should get a water block for it but there just doesnt seem much point as im thinking there is a new line of gpu's to roll out so might wait and see ill do what i can with this 295 unless i get a good offer and ill grab a couple or 3 gtx 285's

I couldn't seem to get softmod to work on single pcb 295 card :/ Any tips?

no voltera vc on the single pcb now they went with ADP3193A voltage controller, which does not give I2c software volt control.

it wont be hard to mod look for pinout of ADP3193A

Yeah? I'm not great with electronics but I'm willing to try anything. Can someone here help me if I take pics perhaps?

Is this soft mod only limited to the 1st generation 295's or is there one for the 2nd generations? I have tried different softmod programs but with no luck?
