already done
Cheers mate.

I had a good read this morning and started getting the word out to some of the individuals who I'd need to coerce into being nice

Tomorrow morning I'll reply to the email with further information - Unfortunately today was freakin busy!

In the mean time I have gotten my hands on a P5K3 Deluxe and 2GB Kingston HyperX DDR3-1375 7-7-7-20 for the weekend, as well as a Gigabyte GA-P35T-DQ6 if I get a chance to suss that out though I picked up the first two kits of gear as a priority. If there is any testing or combinations of clocks and timings I may be able to do for you over the weekend I'll do my best to gather as much info for you to go into the OC comp with.

Good timing for the hardware as my copper pot from Kayl arrived today as well. So I've spoken to my housemate and he will hopefully get some dry ice organised for me for the weekend. Would love some LN2 action though to be brutally honest I should probably do some dice runs first (perhaps the next weekend).

Even worse when you come from Gosford!!! ****ing storms!

It was quite an experience to be travelling by train to get home with the above hardware in my arms - so bloody worried about being mugged or something

Dino, what're you up to on the weekend? Wanna come up north for some overclocking fun? Drop me a PM if you're interested

And now for 4000 words... or just 4 photos

Props to Kayl for a high quality copper pot

Uncover the sticks to check which ICs they're using, then we can have some good time ocing them

It's a lovely smell isn't it eva

BenchZowner - I've only got the kit for a very small window of time and would be in a very unpleasant situation if any damage was to be done to them. I'll go direct to Kingston to find out what they use. Worst comes to worst, there's always the option to say "Tell me or the heat spreaders are coming off!"

Re: VR Zone OC Competition - Singapore

The easiest & safe way to remove the heatspreaders is to heat them up for 5-10 secs with a hair dryer ( don't let the heatspreaders temp surpass 45C ) and then open them up slowly & progressively ( sideways ) with the help of a flathead screwdriver ( force against the pcb gently )

[ might upload a 'guide' video might come handy when people ask how to open up their memories ]
