| By Don_Dan Think it's still Hynix, like in this picture:
![]() Above are ICs from the same brand/model memory (F3-17000CL9D-8GBXLD 2x4GB), as seen in this post: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...gbxld-RipjawsX All others have been added. Thanks! |

I have Corsair dominator 1333 9-9-9 1333 ver2.1 Judging from bottom side of IC there are 2 different IC's used. 1 is direct match to dominator 2000 cas7 I have (white stripe with gap in it in middle) 2 is strange looking pretty square IC with flat copper tab inbedded in IC in the middle Any ideas? Does BABG-DJ-F, BASE DJ-F and MGH-E look similar from the side or can I assume stick one is MGH-E? Any Ideas on Stick #2 with copper tab? I can take pictures and will post if that helps. |

| By Rone I know this picture, that's why I said it must be Hynix BFR and a new revision. The Hynix sticks have 0240 in their PN while the new revision has 0860 in there, so it must be something else.
![]() Anyway, please add the kit with confirmed Hynix chips to the list. I noticed two mistakes, could you please correct them? PC3-16000 Ripjaws 9-9-9-27 @ 1.6V Elpida EBSE-DJ-F F3-16000CL9D-4GBRHD (2x2GB) Should be BBSE of course. PC3-17066 Trident 9-9-9-24 @ 1.65V Powerchip F3-17066CL9D-4GBTDS (2x2GB) I have a kit of those and they were never PSC, mine are Elpida BBSE-DJ-F as are all the others I have seen. I saw you put this kit as Elpida, the kit in this thread has Elpida OEM chips but I've seen another kit with "real" BBSE chips. And it should be 3x2GB. ![]() PC3-16000 Ripjaws 9-9-9-27 @ 1.6V Elpida BBSE-DJ-F F3-16000CL9T-6GBRH (3x2GB) I apologize for getting on your nerves again! |

| By Bobbylite Did you buy some more of these? I remember you posted in this thread some time ago about these sticks as well.
BABG look like this, and I think all BASE ICs ( DJ-E, MNH-E, MGH-E ) look the same from the side. What can those sticks do? And it seems like you're binning quite a few memory kits lately, do you post your results anywhere? Kingston PC-10600 9-9-9-24 @ 1.5V Elpida BABG-DJ-E KVR1333D3N9K3/6G (3x2GB) |

sorry for double posting but peeled the spreader off in the name of science. really not that hard to remove, throw them in a sealed cardboard box with hot air blower on them for 4-5 minutes and use a towel to hold it while slowly prying with a flat head...getting them back on with good contact maybe difficult though.... For future reference BABG = visible copper tab on chip |

| By Bobbylite Yah, I know who you are!
![]() My DDR3 collection is really small compared to all the DDR2 kits I have... ![]() Thanks for removing the heatspreader and showing what's hiding underneath! |
