Don-Dan do you take off the hs for all the ram you find the ic of?

if so do you reuse the thermal tape or change it every time?

Most of the stuff I post is taken from different sources all over the net.
For the RAM I take the HS off I reuse the thermal tape, yes.

Yes, Elpida Hyper chips can do it.

Thanks, don do you know if hypers can do that even in P67? I want to buy ST 2000 C7 but i dont know if they will work 100% in P67.

It depends on which board you want to buy as well, but in general it's only a problem of the biggest memory divider, all the others should work fine with Hyper chips on most enthusiast boards. If I were you I'd shoot for 1066MHz though.


Edit: eva2000 made some runs at 933MHz here, but never at CL6. Maybe you could ask if he faced some problems or if he didn't try it at all.

PS I had read that the 1333 cas 9 dominators ver 2.1 are hyper,
this is not true, I have pulled spreader and some is bdbg and some is babg (4 sticks out of 16 where hyper) but all are marked 2.1

(this is splave btw)


Can anyone recommend a good PSC kit for SB-E available in the USA? Ive searched for days but everything is crap
