| Will a Zalman 9700NT fit on a GA-X38-DQ6 ?
Im planning to buy a Gigabyte GA-X38-DQ6 motherboard and a Zalman 9700NT CPU cooler. I will let these two pictures here, demonstrate the problem: As you can see, the GA-X38-DQ6 board is equipped with a heatsink underneath the board. ![]() The Zalman 9700NT requires you to install their brackets, in order to make the cooler stand stabile. Now the overall question is: Will my 9700NT's brackets be able to fit, even though Gigabyte have placed a giant-a$$ heatsink? If it don't, could you people reccomend a CPU cooler that does not need brackets and still keep my CPU cool? ![]() Thanks in advance. - Philip |
