I'm sure you are probably aware but the initial DDR3 P45 boards in general (not just Gigabyte) were not liking Micron at much about 1600 or so. But, there have been several new BIOS' released since I benched last which is why I need to get it going again. Let me know if any of you have good results with Micron based memory and also let me know if you start a new thread on this please Dino

Hey Yellowbeard, the Micron's I've tried have been fine on this board (unlike my P5Q3, I've only use 2X1Gb sticks).

Here you can see I was able to run 700fsb dual channel http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=407805

As far as the bios goes, F3e has been my pick so far. F3i was a total pig dog for me, just getting it to boot in the 400 - 500 range was a whole lot of work.

I'll be flashing to F3j/F3 later tonight to try that out.

dino, let me know when you receive your board and a QX.

I finally got my P45T up & running after a set of Cellshock died . replacement set have not been too bad
Results shown so far are with F5B , Just flashed to F3 yesterday, not had chance to test yet. Results are so far as you describe , needs a bit of work to get there. Early shots at jumping in at 1900+ weren't too clever , learnt more starting low & working up, which is the same as I did with the X48T, although that did prove easier, which kinda confirms your statement
Priority does seem to have been given to the DDR2 version. F3 brings the Ram options in line with DDr2 with the addition of the Driving settings. Though unlike the DDR2 version which has 5 profiles as shown here:-

The F3 P45T bbios has no profiles at all Hopefully we'll see some catching up.

I have no idea if it will be Micron or Samsung based stuff. I can try to find out if you want to know.

I should have been more clear. It's only the 4GB kits / 2GB modules.

Hey supershanks

Just looking at your screenshot above and making sure you know the 3:5 is bugged.

This will give you an idea just how bad it is.

There's a thread about it on XS, haha unless I can do the above on stock cooling and volts.
