depends on cpu families bloomfield i7 9xx series 1.35-1.45v cpu vtt 24/7 lynnfield i7 8xx series <1.35v not sure on that one gulftown i7 980x series <1.35-1.4v as per http://i4memory.com/f55/intel-core-i...-ratios-23430/ So generally I'd keep it between 1.2-1.35v and within 0.50v of vdimm. |

for 24/7 with i7 980x uncore to mem frequency ratio has been lowered from 2.0x to 1.5x as per http://i4memory.com/f55/intel-core-i...-ratios-23430/ so lower uncore frequency = less cpu vtt required. All is outlined at http://i4memory.com/f55/intel-core-i...-ratios-23430/ |
