The mb seems to have hit a limit with the ram at 520.8mhz
It couldnt reach 500mhz without getting errors in memtest86 test 4 till I set Performance Enhance from Turbo to Standard

Then the next limit was reached at 519mhz where memtest86 and prime95 would run ok but if i take the fsb even 1mhz higher it wont post
Changing Channel A&B Driving Settings from auto to OC-1333 allowed it to go up one more mhz fsb before the same problem was reached again

The mb and cpu are prime stable at 488fsb 3.9ghz with the ram 1:1 but it starts reaching the same memory limit in 1:1 if i oc much further
Last time i tried the 2x1g micron d9 i ran into the same problem but i will try again now that i have the f6 bios

So if anyone has some tips for how i may get past this limit would be great thanks

tried raising the fsb in windows and was able to increase the fsb and ram speed to ~450-460fsb i think it was and it was still able to run 8m pi and 10min of prime95 without any problems so its just a posting problem i think

the 2x1g 444-12 800 team x micron d9 hits the same limit but i also tested it with one stick of ram this time which allowed it to reach 460fsb 5:6 before memtest started to error in test 5 increasing the ram v reduced the errors so i guess it finally reached the rams limit instead of another mb limit

so any ideas what settings may get past this 520mhz post limit when using two sticks of ram?

try even higher tRFC say 60-88+ and static tread 11 with MCH volts between 1.4-1.48v

9450 quad core also stresses the memory controller more and Gigabyte P45 is already not that great for 2x1GB dual channel compared to others for tight settings let alone 2x2GB memory clocks + 9450.

Thanks for the tip im afraid it didnt help but it did get me to have another go at the ram
this time i tried tightening timings and seeing how much i could lower the v and threw some fluke there seems to be something it likes about these settings as the limit is gone

My bad, i think you should just put the divider to 2.
My 2x2gb micron new ic 800 will not do 1200mhz 2.3 and i wasnt gonna put it ubder more heat.

Updated the bios? F7 current.

2.4B strap never worked well for me with 2 x 1Gb past 434Mhz FSB. Although my Patriot sticks are rated 600Mhz.
