But I have still being following the forums just not participating. However that is about to change. I am now settled in the UK and my kids are both of school going age and I am competitive as a person. Benching has always been a activity that being female is not an impediment, say like some other physical sports would be. This contest at HWBOT is the reason I am asking. I am suggesting to a couple of forum buddies that we should all take part. The thing is none of us is flush with money. So my question was more to do with is an unlocked CPU essential or can we (read I) get away with a i3 530 CPU.

i would probably go with the cheaper option myself and knowing how well other H55 boards from Giga clock bclock i wouldnt be surprised if this one does too but i dont know

i thought high bclk on H55 was with only particular cpus such as core i3 5xx ??

Hello eva you are still going strong doing amazing things to ram - I am pleased to see.

Yeah that is what I thought too, i3 5xx with these boards. I think I will just try it one and see if it does not work then too bad I guess.
