Intel Sandy Bridge-E LGA2011 based cpus and X79 chipset based motherboards are nearly here. Here's some preview photos of Gigabyte X79-UD5 motherboard. Memory overclockers and enthusiasts would've never thought they would see they day when they can pluck in 8x2GB Elpida Hyper IC based memory for 16GB Elpida Hyper memory action! | Administrator | By donmarkoni Yeah no cpu yet waiting on 3930K... 3960K outside my finances right now but from benchmarks I've seen no much diff between 3930K vs 3960K for our benchmarking purposes.
hope so, here's to all manufacturers working hard on improving bios + elpida hyper and general memory compatibility ![]() By Bassplayer fingers crossed.. we shall all see

OMG eva!! thank you for testing this.. i hope they work 3960x should be in stock at newegg by the 18th over here in the us... and is already available at some microcenters.. (even a couple of asus mobos at microcenter ) hopefully they get to aus soon |
