I've been having pretty nice success with this cheap board ($149.99US) and my Geil DDR2-1160 CAS4 2x1GB kit with D9GMH chips. The kit really seems to be responding to the 1333 OC driving strength profile. First up are DDR2-1300 results which only required 2.40V for single 32M stability! These are the BIOS settings used. Bumping up vMCH slightly to 1.360V from 1.320V and vDIMM from 2.40V to 2.48V enabled me to pass single 32M at 666MHz CAS5 ![]() Code: ******************************************************* MB Intelligent Tweaker(M.I.T.) ******************************************************* Robust Graphics Booster ..............: Auto CPU Clock Ratio ......................: 8x CPU Frequency ........................: 3.55GHz (444x8) ************** Clock Chip Control ************** >>>>>> Standard Clock Control CPU Host Clock Control................: Enabled CPU Host Frequency (Mhz) .............: 444 PCI Express Frequency (Mhz) ..........: 100 C.I.A.2 ..............................: Disabled >>>>>> Advanced Clock Control.........: [Press Enter] CPU Clock Drive.......................: 800mV PCI Express Clock Drive...............: 900mV CPU Clock Skew (ps)...................: 0ps MCH Clock Skew (ps)...................: 0ps *********** DRAM Performance Control *********** Performance Enhance...................: Standard (G)MCH Frequency Latch................: Auto System Memory Multiplier .............: 3.00A Memory Frequency (Mhz) ...............: 1332 DRAM Timing Selectable ...............: Manual >>>>>> Standard Timing Control CAS Latency Time......................: 5 tRCD .................................: 5 tRP...................................: 5 tRAS..................................: 15 >>>>>> Advanced Timing Control........: [Press Enter] tRRD..................................: Auto tWTR..................................: Auto tWR...................................: Auto tRFC..................................: Auto tRTP..................................: Auto Command Rate (CMD) ...................:Auto >>>>>> Channel A Timing Settings......: [Press Enter] Static tRead Value....................: 7 tRD Phase0 Adjustment.................:Auto tRD Phase1 Adjustment.................:Auto tRD Phase2 Adjustment ................: Auto tRD Phase3 Adjustment.................: Auto Trd2rd(Different Rank)................: Auto Twr2wr(Different Rank)................: Auto Twr2rd(Different Rank)................: Auto Trd2wr(Same/Diff Rank)................: Auto Dimm1 Clock Skew Control (ps).........: Auto Dimm2 Clock Skew Control (ps).........: Auto DDR Write Training....................: Auto >>>>>> Channel A Driving Settings.....: [Press Enter] Driving Strength Profile..............: OC-1333 Data Driving Pull-Up Level............: Auto Cmd Driving Pull-Up level.............: Auto Ctrl Driving Pull-Up Level............: Auto Clk Driving Pull-Up Level.............: Auto Data Driving Pull-Down Level..........: Auto Cmd Driving Pull-Down level...........: Auto Ctrl Driving Pull-Down Level..........: Auto Clk Driving Pull-Down Level...........: Auto >>>>>> Channel B Timing Settings......: [Press Enter] Static tRead Value....................: 7 tRD Phase0 Adjustment.................: Auto tRD Phase1 Adjustment.................: Auto tRD Phase2 Adjustment ................: Auto tRD Phase3 Adjustment.................: Auto Trd2rd(Different Rank)................: Auto Twr2wr(Different Rank)................: Auto Twr2rd(Different Rank)................: Auto Trd2wr(Same/Diff Rank)................: Auto Dimm1 Clock Skew Control (ps).........: Auto Dimm2 Clock Skew Control (ps).........: Auto DDR Write Training....................: Auto >>>>>> Channel B Driving Settings.....: [Press Enter] Driving Strength Profile..............: OC-1333 Data Driving Pull-Up Level............: Auto Cmd Driving Pull-Up level.............: Auto Ctrl Driving Pull-Up Level............: Auto Clk Driving Pull-Up Level.............: Auto Data Driving Pull-Down Level..........: Auto Cmd Driving Pull-Down level...........: Auto Ctrl Driving Pull-Down Level..........: Auto Clk Driving Pull-Down Level...........: Auto ********* Motherboard Voltage Control ********* Voltage Types...........Normal..........Current ----------------------------------------------- >>>>>> CPU Load-Line Calibration.................: Disabled CPU Vcore..............1.31250v......: 1.50000V CPU Termination........1.200v.........: 1.300V CPU PLL................1.500v.........: 1.500V CPU Reference..........0.780v.........: Auto >>>>>> MCH/ICH MCH Core...............1.100v.........: 1.360V MCH Reference..........0.800v.........: Auto MCH/DRAM Ref...........0.900v.........: Auto ICH I/O................1.500v.........: 1.500V ICH Core...............1.100v.........: 1.100V >>>>>> DRAM DRAM Voltage...........1.800v.........: 2.480V DRAM Termination.......0.900v.........: Auto Channel A Reference....0.900v.........: Auto Channel B Reference....0.900v.........: Auto |

Nice clocks there mate, same as my EP45 Extreme, maxed out at 666Mhz 5-5-5-x for Super Pi 32M stable with my Crucial Ballistix PC2-8500 Tracer and Non-Tracers and Team DDR3-13000Mhz kits! For me drive strength and mem clock skew didn't do anything either heh |

| Well, the 1333 drive strength profile worked well with the Geil kit, but not so much my others. For instance, with my OCZ Flex 9200 kit, I got a lot more errors in test #5 and got errors in test #4 in Memtest; setting the drive strength profile to auto at the same VDIMM setting greatly decreased the #5 errors and eliminated the errors in test 4.
