moved to flash memory forums

Yeah seen such devices for DIY SSD using compact flash as well as SDHC but they're only as fast as the flash memory used and pretty limited by their controller that interfaces with SATA/PATA. Probably not worth it for the price needed for fastest top end SDHC cards.

i.e. in Australia 8GB Sandisk Extreme III 30MB/s SDHC cost between AUD$100-150 each. 6x SDHC of these = AUD$600-900 for 6x8GB = 48GB storage space. While 32GB Mtron SLC costs around AUD$500-750 and 128GB Patriot Warp MLC costs around AUD$559-650.
