if FM are kind enough to approve this score youare going to completely obliterate this benchmark once you get those numbers cranking

now i'm depressed lol

need to find SSDs IF FM approve this lol

SSD drives are definitely the way of the future!

I'm helping my mum's friend with video encoding/authoring their wedding videos soon so will do it on this 920/DFI X58 rig with SSD raid 0 as scratch disk - should speed things up quite a bit

edit:

This time split my 4x32GB SSD Raid 0 into 2 partitions of equal size M and N drive and then did a Pcmark05 run and got much higher startup scores but 1/6th the speed in General HDD

Unfortunately, still get systeminfo corrupted message on submission page

Then ran Pcmark05 again but off 2nd SSD partition on N drive and got a nice boost

My wishlist top 6 (if i didn't have a budget) in no particular order would be

Budget/price wise RR3520LF, Adaptec 5405 are about the same, RR4320 and 5805 a next up (RR4320 being a bit more in Australia), Areca will cost twice as much as RR4320 ad 5805s

Dam if only I had the money I'd try all of them

real budget end we have Adaptec 2405 and Highpoint RR3510LF and RR3220 http://www.highpoint-tech.com/USA/series_3000.htm and RR2310.

Highpoint 3510LF would be first pick then Adaptec 2405 but nothing you can find decent in £60 range unfortunately
