Pcmark Vantage 64bit
Suite & HDD test

HDD test suite saw 16K block size come out on top followed by 64K and 128K (16K NTFS) block size. But the full suite test saw 64K and 128K block size ahead of the rest.

From the above results it seems the best option for Highpoint RocketRaid 3520LF controller is to use 128K block size for raid 0 array.

Small update and proving that tweaked OS assisted OCZ Cores can do pretty well

Other 4x32GB OCZ Core V1 SSD Raid 0 benchmarks with 128K Block size on Highpoint RocketRaid 3520LF PCI-E x8 Raid controller installed on PCI-E #4 x16 Green PCI-E slot on DFI UT X58-T3EH8 motherboard.

Used some of the Vista/OCZ SSD registry tweaks from OCZ support forum sticky as well as MFT to assist random write improvements

ATTO bench and HDTune

CrystalDiskMark 100MB and 1000MB tests
100MB test shined due to Highpoint RR3520LF PCI-E x8 controller's onboard 256MB cache

PCmark05 and PCmark Vantage

This time split my 4x32GB SSD Raid 0 into 2 partitions of equal size M and N drive and then did a Pcmark05 run and got much higher startup scores but 1/6th the speed in General HDD

Unfortunately, still get systeminfo corrupted message on submission page

Then ran Pcmark05 again but off 2nd SSD partition on N drive and got a nice boost

I noticed in the other thread that you said you bought these drives from PCManiacs?
I looked around on their website, but couldn't find the product.

I've been looking at buying a single 32GB SSD for the HTPC as the linux/OS partition. Basically thought about these types of SSDs as they're quiet, relatively fast, don't consume much power - which is important for a HTPC. Any ideas on where I may be able to find the 32GB variant on the cheap (Melbourne, or someone who will post to VIC)?

Also, have you been able to compare the 32GB and 64GB drives?

Looks like the stock at pcmaniacs might have dried up. Staticice.com.au price search engine should have latest available places which have them http://www.staticice.com.au/cgi-bin/...q=ocz+ssd+core although there's no the V1 (which I have) and V2 flavours.

I haven't had a chance to test 32GB vs 64GB ones as my wallet is a bit dry now

Forgot to include the HDTune 2.55 results, so updated with both HDTune 2.55 results and newly benched Iometer 64bit's 4K Random write 100% tests on 10GB test file.
