Comparing two USB2.0 flash memory readers. Basically the Minitar 6in1 USB2.0 reader is alot faster than the Transcend 7in1 USB2.0 reader for Secure Digital card usage. However, what I like about the Transcend 7in1 USB2.0 reader is that as well as a the normal USB cable which plugs into the back of the unit, the Transcend one also comes with an inbuilt USB cable which tucks into the side of the reader itself as well as it comes with a leather pouch included.

Winbench99 Comaprison

Compared 256mb sandisk, lexar, and simpletech sd card in Minitar 6in1 USB2.0 and Transcend 7in1 USB2.0 reader with write cached enabled. Seems the Minitar 6in1 USB2.0 reader is faster for Lexar and Simpletech sd cards. While the Transcend 7in1 USB2.0 reader seems faster for Sandisk sd card.
