Would like to see the results after because I'm thinking about doing the same with 4 x32 myself.

Might be a bit hard to see results right now as system has been broken down, ready for the next set of motherboards to test. But I'll continue to test these 4x 32GB OCZ SSD Core on those systems as well as with hardware raid controllers - so more tests to come

Ya I hope to get some intel x25m80gb's. I'm in talks with them to see if I could get some samples for raid testing and maybe buy a 3rd one myself have a 3x 80 gig intel ssd raid.

What a difference a real hardware raid controller with 256MB cache makes compared to onboard ICH9R/10R raid controllers! Highpoint RocketRaid 3520LF + 4x32GB OCZ SSD Core V1 raid 0 = ATTO 500+MB read/300+ MB writes, pcmark05 hdd test = 38,000+ and Everest Random Write ~179MB/s average

Well I caved in today. I talked to OCZ and Patriot and A few others. I got 4 of the same you got. The 32 gb ones for a great price local. 180 each. So I now Have 4 of them. There V1's but the firmware say 2.1 I dunno. Ocz said they have had less problems with v1's over the v2's. Apparrently the v2's have been shiped with faulty jmicron controllers. I'll be working on the setup tonight on my p5b deluxe.

Btw where did you get that Drive rack?

Well Installed them and got 410 MB/s in hdtune peak was 450 mb/s. I'm one of the lucky ppl no write errors yet. Also I loaded windows from a ghost image I had no issues at all. Installing crysis warhead now to try it out.

Great stuff, looks like your newer firmware might have iron out some potential issues other folks have had. I think it's time you started your own adventures thread in Flash devices http://i4memory.com/f9/ forum

Drive rack I got from auspcmarket.com.au but they only had 1 in stock and rest are on back order ETA 8 weeks
