Yeah man, you need a K-type probe of course.
The two "flat" holes on the DMM is where you plug one in.
My guess is that your DMM just automatically starts displaying temperature whenever you plug one in.
You can pick up a cheap K-type for $10-15

Thanks for that guys.

Mine never came with a connection like that H[]R3NDUS, even tho it says it in book it's included. Any idea where to start looking for one? I noticed in a topic somewhere else your running a probe from you K connector to a black compressor box (Kayl cooler I think), so it can be used with a probe to get readings from places too?

Thanks eva. So that would plug into 2 of the 4 holes on the bottom where the leads go? Then a temp probe to what I want to measure.

Sorry for such noob questions, but I've never used a DMM before and I have 0 understanding on this stuff.

So if I want to check the bios mod I did yesterday I set my DMM for DC on the 2 setting, then I put the red lead to 1 of the red dots largon did on XE, and where does the black lead go? And it's measured with the card in and running?
