Just did the pencil mod on a P5B DLX WiFi. Works like a charm!
1.35V set in bios - 1.344V idle/load, no Vdroop at all.
1.4V set in bios - 1.4V idle/load
I'm able now to run 3.43GHz @ 1.35V (bios) stable. Before the mod i had to set the Vcore to 1.4V(bios) - 1.368V idle / 1.35V load.
The same mod applies to the P5B-E Plus.

Excellent, did you measure before and after resistance with DMM ?
works like a charm here too i didn't take resistance down too much though - steady vcore
OCCT v1.1.0 at 3600Mhz at 1.4v bios (1.384v)

Hey eva, how about adding this one and the soldering guide to a new modding section of i4memory?
