For vCore, the most accurate place i know to measure is the base of a choke (coil) next to the CPU socket, on the side closest to the socket. And the easiest way to measure that is just tape/solder a small wire on the underside of the mobo at its leg (the choke on this board goes right thru the board and is soldered on the backside).

For vMCH, the measure point is just a mosfet near that mod. In the photo its the very top leg of the mosfet partially osbscured by the WiFi card. Easiest way is to use a grabber and leave the grabber clipped on that leg. When you want to measure just insert your probe into the tail of the grabber.

do you mean the leg closest to the top of the image...circled here?


i get a much higher reading than BIOS set from this MOSFET, haven't tested yet whether it scales or not. i have been using the following spots for vMCH which are pretty close to BIOS set and scale exactly with the BIOS selections:
