| By GenAn I just realized I had emailed them yesterday and asked if they carried the WX200UB2G7 or WX200UX6G7 model. They replied saing they now carry the WX200UB2G7 (single 2GB), but didn't mention the WX200UX6G7 (6gb kit). Wow they react quickly...five or six listings which each say 10 available...weird.

| Administrator | By GenAn Yeah suddenly so much stock - could be clearing inventory or maybe some manufacturer's held back inventory until the elpida hyper bad batch news died down or they have been screening the bad batches out and now have good inventory ?
Shame i'll be occupied with Super Talent 2200 CAS8 stuff instead - only so many $$$ to spend lol By spoolindsm127 thanks for sharing the confirmation from Super Talent that these are Elpida MNH-E Hypers KHX2000C8D3T1K3/6GX - Elpida MGH-E Hyper + Core i7 980X

Yea not sure what is exactly going on. I know in the computer electronic world, when something new is about to be introduced the current technology slowly drops in price. The way these are popping up everywhere, I get the feeling Elpida is releasing a new chip, possibly a further revised Hyper chip. And thanks eva2000, I wanted to find out for myself and everyone else I knew that information would be useful. So you are running the Super Talent 2200MHz...those are Hypers too correct? MGH-E at that also right? Do you have confirmation? Also how are they doing for you? I found one place that has the KHX2000C8D3T1K3/6GX, three kits left. They are selling for $275 plus shipping which is bringing it to about $290 USD. The Super Talent 2200MHz are $90 for ea. 2GB module, so about $270 for all three plus shipping. So roughly same cost, but I'm wondering since the Super Talent are rated higher at 2200MHz are they the better choice? Will they be more stable, or are they better binned ICs or something? What the hell is binning anyways?? loll |
