Will post pic and more results later on higher vdimm.. Pic of setup about the same as profile pic except with dfi For DFI x58's I find memtest hci and memtest86+ is fake on vdimm hyperpi is somewhat fake cause all u need is to have stable vtt voltages it will accept lower vdimm a lot by around 0..05v prime95 set large fft then custom change run fft to 5.4gb is the best for vdimm linx is best for vcore and ioh/ich voltages. also HT off requires more vtt voltage than HT on Test rig I7 920 DFI UT X58 the8 Kingston Hyperx T1 3x2gb 2000mhz CL8 GTx285 sli. Rated at 2000mhz CL8-8-8-24 so it should run 1866 CL7-8-7-20 , 1600 CL6-7-6-18 at the same voltage Result of rated speed 1.56set, DMM Read 1.551v - this is the UT default voltage 2000 8-8-8-24 1n vtt 1.37 ![]() 1870 7-8-7-20 1n vtt 1.26 ![]() 1600 6-7-6-18 1n vtt 1.21 ![]() 1.65v set DMM Read 1.648 load 1720 6-7-6-18 1n vtt 1.23 ![]() 1993 7-8-7-20 1n vtt 1.39 ![]() 2100 8-8-8-24 1n vtt 1.48 ![]() ![]() had to abort linx. ambient temp now 36C will do this again on a cooler day with a hr05 and some fans. take note i am testing in the casing not a bench rig. more to come. was curious how fast is this with ht on ![]() 1.68v set DMM Read 1.673 load 2000mhz 7-8-7-20 1n 1.39vtt ![]() Max Stable if u have the kahuna's to run prime95 is 1.86vdimm vtt 1.68v .. csl7 should be 1.96v for vdimm but i try to abstain going more than 1.9v on x58. trust me its stable. once u figure out the trick to this mobo.. its just upping to the voltage. ![]() Conclusion : Same price as dominator 1600mhz CL8 6gb . so whatcha think?? |

hey eva check out the wprime score is wprime2 faster?? curious now. raja did 5.5ghz for 1.55s i shaved 11 secs from 4.2ghz to 4.4ghz from 2000mhz cl7 to 2100cl8 so technically if i can do 4.6ghz 2200mhz cl8 should get 1.55s |

wprime is all over the place you can't really compare versions for wprime.. Last i read wprime 2.0 is slower than faster wprime 1.x version but much closer to the fastest 1.x version - but that was several months ago - haven't kept up to date for wprime unfortunately. |

will post soon the base clocks for elpida's DFI X58 Stock voltage is 1.56v set. 1600 CL 8-8-8-24 1n 1.54v vdimm vtt 1.21v 1866 CL 7-8-7-20 1n 1.54v vdimm vtt 1.26v 2000 CL 8-8-8-24 1n 1.54v vdimm vtt 1.37v dunno why i had a epiphany with this mobo. know every setting up to dram 2100mhz atm. 2150 stable is hard.. no joke.. but will take a crack at it later. again will post all the setting after the competition. hmm not even sure will be entering it as monday onwards will be overseas again for work.. damn it. |

the scaling of this kit is very linear to voltage on the dfi once u understand the mobo max allowable by this kit at 1.86v is 2300mhz CL8, 2200mhz CL7, max allowable by this kit at 1.76v is 2200mhz CL8,2100mhz Cl7 was tempted to do 2000mhz cl6 but danger zone abit cause the vtt is at 1.39v with the dram at 1.86v.. too close to the 0.5v for my comfort. |
