| which Code is for High or low quality (OC)
Hello, I would like to buy new memory 2x2GB DDR3 2000 MHZ Dimm's for this System Asus Rampage Extrem with CPU q9650 now I have seen the ramlist and try now memory to buy with the highest quality of the code some people say the D9GTN is the lower quality than D9GR and D9GTS is the highest. (all micron chips) if is possible to say this or this code is for 2x2GB DDR3- (16000) 2000 MHZ Memory-Chips the cip with the highest Quality and the best to Overclock? (perhaps Micron D9JNL (HX-187E) or Samsung HCF0 or Powerchip or ????? ) thanks a lot for any help reagards Achim |

welcome kubinek ![]() Most DDR3-2000Mhz rated stuff with a low price point these days are Samsung based while there are some 2x2GB D9GTS based modules about they cost alot more than Samsung based parts. What are you aiming for mem timing wise high 8-8-8-x ? I'd go for 2x2GB DDR3-2000 with lowest rated vdimm which most likely be Samsung based and clock high on 8-8-8-x timings with lower vdimm memory requirements. I haven't seen D9GTN in 2x2GB ??? Only in 1GB modules http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...84#post2796484 |

hello, sorry for the double post, but i could not delete to find I aim at one fsb from 470 to 500 an then i aim synchronize the fsb to the ramm speed (like 1880 to 2000) yes i think i have to go the lowest rate like 9-9-9-x I thought it am better a highest fsb to be take than low and low latency ??? if the fsb to the fsb-dimms synchtonized !!! an i hope i finde goof dimms the works fine an the yes samsung likes goof but i could not find them. is there samsung ddr3 or which manufacturers used samsung chips ? many use micron, elpida qimonda… there is the D9GTn ===> (ramlist ddr3) PC3-8500 Gold Edition OCZ3G10662GK (2x1GB)7-7-7-21 @ 1.5 - 1.6VMicron D9GTN (BY-25) |

yes i find the new G.SKILL DDR3 PC 16000 CL9 4GB Kit and the OCZ DDR3 PC3-16000 Platinum Edition </SPAN> the Corsair Dominator TW3X4G2000C9DF are very expensively ar Micron D9 Chips better to OC ? and wich DDR3-16000 Dimms are based Micron D9 Chips? The OCZ PC3-10666 Platinium based Micron D9JNL! Have you any informations about CSX-Memorys ( Compo-StockX ) DIABLO3-2000-4GB-KIT ? http://www.csx-memory.com/?site=show...article_id=630 they based Micron D9GTR |

CSX DDR3-2000 early modules were Micron D9GTS but most like samsung based by now. Micron D9 need more vdimm than samsung and clock higher on 7-7-7-7x than samsung and Micron are more capable of 6-6-6-x. But samsung clock higher on 8-8-8-x as they don't stress memory controlelr as much as Micron. Unless you're into super pi/memory bandwidth intensive apps than samsung should do find for everyday and gaming situations. If you're a true bencher/overclocker than you'd probably have a set of each - samsung and micron d9 so you can use which ever is most suited to your task at hand |

Hello ok thanks a lot for this goof informations... up-to-date I could buy memory with D9GTS and D9GTR. which are better to OC ? I heard the D9GTS are very rare and for the memory manufacturer (like OCZ, Corsai, CSX and others) are this Micron D9GTS to too expensively ? that would be then of luck for me if I these to buy But the D9GTS are the highest quality (i heard it)? Have any informations about this? reagrds achim |
