Josh hit the 1000 mark in the latest atomic with some Team Xtreem...but I think it came in at more than $700 aussie ![]() so whats the general consensus with this stuff guys? |

hehe in the interests of benching we'll all promise to chip in and cover the cost in the event that George fries them...in reality it will be all tumbleweed and the chirping of crickets |

My OCZ PC3-14400 Platinum handles higher 7-7-7-20 but needs more more vdimm. But Crucial handle CAS8 higher at lower vdimm. But Crucial is at 33% less price wise. By gaidin It's not about memory frequency itself more actually real bandwidth and memory latencies achieved ...but my board is limited to 485-495FSB and DDR3 boards only have max 1:2 divider so no way to hit 1000Mhz / DDR3-2000Mhz on this board of mine. To hit >1000Mhz / DDR3-2000Mhz you need motherboard and cpu to be able to do >500FSB.
Some more benchmarks - just quick ones not much stability test wise. Not as fast as 950Mhz 7-7-7-20 though but close at 950mhz 8-7-6-20. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Nice... more modules to drool over hehe Also posted dedicated Crucial PC3-12800 thread now Crucial Ballistix DDR3-1600 + Asus Blitz Extreme |

Cut short Blitz Extreme testing due to low board FSB ceiling of 485-495FSB. Moved to Asus P5K3 Deluxe and much better FSB clocking and easier ram clocks it seems ![]() This is 822mhz 7-6-5-20 1T at 1.90v bios set vdimm. ![]() |
