I think my CPU got too hot while I was doing 32m testing at 20x200BCLK with those settings since the PC just shut down. It's pretty hot in here

Which divider for Bloomfield is the easiest to clock RAM on? I was trying for DDR3-2100 8-9-8x on the 2:14 with a lower BCLK but it wasn't going so well. What stresses IMC more, higher BCLK but lower divider, or lower BCLK with higher divider? Or is it all the same since uncore is going to have to be the same speed regardless?

12x mem multi is good for >DDR3-2000+ speeds but while uncore frequency is all the same if you observe 2x ratio for uncore to memory frequency, the bclk will differ so any and all CPU VTT volt tuning needed will be a bit more bclk specific in nature.

Overall system it's easy for lower bclk with high cpu multi - hence why you see alot of unlocked cpu multiplier cpus benching 3d benchmarks with high cpu multi x lower bclk frequencies.

Got the UD7, unfortunately one of my Patriot Vipers has died (not the normal MNH-E death either). I'll have to take it back to the store for an exchange this week. The board seems to be working fine though.

I took the kit back to the retailer, luckily they had another kit in stock to replace it with. These sticks are slightly different from the first, they have black Brainpower PCBs rather than green Kunyu PCBs. Still MNH-E:

Ah still pretty old stuff huh. Interesting it could be they changed PCBs during week 10 to week 11 transition ?

Was it easy to get the heatspreaders off ? They reattached firmly ?

Heating them up with a blow dryer for a few minutes is all it takes, seriously they're like the easiest heatspreaders to remove. I'm trying for DDR3-2100 8-8-8 with 175BCLK but even with the new UD7 it's not going so well.
