just starting to get my head around ram clocking on the classified...

Intel i7 960
Evga Classified 760
Corsair Dominator 2000 C7
Corsair HX1000
Asus GTX280
Noctua air







Later I will give the TEC kit with Nautilus500 a go, but at the moment the rams are just on fully fledged air.





This is what I have been able to come up with so far. I am seriously impressed with the cas6 and cas7 clocks on these rams... why would you even board with trying cas8, I did but it didn't scale (probably uncore related). I am hitting a uncore wall here so I will need a bit of cold to assist me in pushing these rams further.

last night i still kept testing after our chat and thought i'd try out some of your settings as i havent really put any testin time in these yet and man it sure does work well

i wasnt really testing RAM frequencies as much as just max SS clocks on 960 with these sticks using 2:10 ratio

i was doing a 32M at 5290Mhz at around 1060MHz 7-8-7-21-1T TRFC-72 RTL-60/62/64 with 1.75v

Full Settings
211.50 * 25, 4229MHz NB (20x), 1210/610Khz, 1.75vdimm, +300 vtt, ioh vcore 1.5, qpipll 1.5, ioh pll 1.65, RTL 60/62/64, TRFC 72, boot 208

timings 7-8-7-21-1T, TRFC/RTL set rest on auto

this was just an initial test to see if my retail kit can do any decent speeds
i reckon RTL will work much lower and TRFC should be able to handle as low as 52 depending on where the RAM is maxing out

James I should have some peltiers here that will freeze that memory no worries if we can get them to fit I have the power supply for power also from my old 437Watt peltier days, mmm still have all that gear
