Triple Channel (Micron D9GTR)

High voltage benching time with mix and matched 2x1GB Cellshock PC3-14400 8-7-6-21 1.9v + 1GB OCZ PC3-14400 Platinum 8-8-8-24 (3x1GB Micron D9GTR) on DFI LP UT X58-T3EH8 motherboard!

My fastest sub 4Ghz 32M time @999.3Mhz 8-8-7-21 at 2.025v bios set vdimm

New PB for 8-8-8-21 frequency @1026Mhz at 2.07v bios set vdimm. Compared to 920 @4410Mhz with 2x1GB Samsung HCF0 based memory @1050Mhz 9-9-9-24 at 1.875v bios set vdimm.







Finally, max Everest benched @1038Mhz 8-8-8-21 at 2.085v

For i7/x58 nope Micron won't be as good for high frequency as Elpida especially with CAS7. Not sure about CAS6.

For CAS8 to a certain point, Samsung HCF0 would keep up with Elpida's new 50nm ICs.

Out of all ICs, from least vdimm memory voltage to most would be Elpida, Samsung HCF0 then Micron D9xxx
