This is a discussion on Windows 7 & DFI UT X58-T3EH8 within the DFI Intel Motherboard / CPU forums, part of the Intel motherboards / CPU category; Any word from DFI on if they were able to recreate this problem?...

| By eva2000 It isn't Windows 7, it is the board....I never had the multi drop on my R2E.
Why is it so hard for DFI to just add a 21x multi like ont he R2E??? BL |

Probably taking DFI longer to pin point the issue as not everyone is suffering for this turbo issue (assuming the usual turbo requirements have already been implemented - EIST, PPM, Turbo enabled with power management - high performance with 100% processor min/max states set)

| http://www.xenshardware.com/files/df...clcokissue.rar Here is a video of the settings, and exactly what happens. It shows every bios screen w/ options selected, and also shows the multi in windows 7 fluctuating. At one point it dropped down to 1x.... wtf! |
