What is this setting for? I disabled it and it helped with my linx runs. Enabled it again, Linx craxhed. Oh yeah, Im really happy with my UT T3eH8. Been fighting to get a C0 stable at 4ghz that last 3 days and its been fun. Apart from the bios resetting if I unplugged the psu from the mains, (Cosmos S issue) I love this board!

Hi Lamprey and welcome!

Definitely some new info! never experienced that before. OC Shutdown Free does away with the the auto power down and boot up to lock settings in on Intel boards which usually on all other X58 boards happens every time. DFI with it enabled allows small changes to by pass this Intel feature.



Must try with it disabled to see if i get more stability as well. I usually leave it enabled. For linx/prime95 stability might want to take notes at i7 920 D0 - DFI UT X58-T3EH8 prime95/linx stability ?

Thanks for pointing me to that thread. I have been reading for a while tho. Hope my accidental discovery helps you on your journey. As it stands, Im in the process of finding my right mix of voltages now. Cheers eva, your enthusiasm with this board is the reason I got it.
