Hi all, this is my first post, but in fact I am not new here.
Before I build my i7 system I google my DFI UT X58 and find there is many good information for me.
After 3 months of trying...

I can not get my 920 D0 stable with my 1866 Corsair.
I would like to ask you guys to help me with this problem.
First of all I am listing my System.
CPU: 920 D0
MB: DFI UT X58
Ram: 6GB Corsair Dominator 1866C9 @ 1.65v
Cooling: Thermalright TB120 on CPU IFX HR-05 on NB
PSU: Corsair HX1000
VGA: 5870 HIS
Sound: SB X-fi TI ( will this the coz of unstable???)

I have go thought almost 35 Pages of UT X58 O/C guide, the thread about Unstable on Linx/Prime95 on D0. Many other pages from other Forums. So, I think I am quite sure I am doing right.

The confirmed list for my system stabled setup
CPU: 3990 (210*19/ 190*21) @ 1.296 Vcore (12hours Prime 95 Win7 64bit 25.9)
Ram: 1600 9-9-9-24 @1.61v~1.65v (12hour Memtest v4.0 CD Rom)
Uncore: 2800 (140*20) @1.31 (12Hour Prime 95 Large FFT)
I tried the musical chair method/ (123/132/231/213/312/321)
raising the VTT up to 1.37 (DFI SG 1.39vtt)/
Up IOH Core to 1.23v/
CPU Pll 1.9v/
Stock CPU 2.66G 1066/1200/1333/1600 Ram with 3200/3600 Uncore

all were no go even I am trying Uncore 3040(190*16).
No matter what I set there is one or more random (usually 30mins to 3 Hours) Roundup Error from Prime95 Large FFT test no Freeze no BSOD.
All I can run my O/C stable is 210*19 3990 @1.296v CPU 1260/2520 1.56/1.31 Ram/Uncore
And suggestion that can help me on O/C the uncore

My MB/CPU dont like low vtt too.
I found my UT x58 only have 1.665 and 1.68 I tried 1.68 SG 1.66

Just now I came across a thread talking about Vcore droop: Disabled/Enabled

Since I disabled the droop on day one I am not sure if it is the cause of error

It passed 10 IBT Maximum 8 Thread after I enable the dropp...

Most likely in your case, try higher vcore

Tried the Setting passed IBT 15run Prime 95 still 27min Error in Large FFT

Eva- thx for your reply but I did try stock CPU 2.66G with 1.25Vcore still error in Large FFT
Do I need more Vcore when I am testing the max uncore??

set tFAW to 31 and see what happens.

I am not sure but After I set tFAW 31 in Bios and lower the Uncore/Ram to 3200/1600
Voltage unchange.
was getting Error after 30mins
Now the Error start from 22 min and 30 mins get another thread Error.
