All above was done using dual core cpu - E8600 Q820A599. So before I swap out the cpu for some quad core action, I thought I'd install .net framework 2.0 32bit on WinXP Pro SP3 and install DFI's ABS - Auto Boost System to save my existing set of CMOS Reloaded saved profiles. Once ABS installed, I proceeded to first select the appropriate motherboard model which in my case is DFI LP UT X48-T3R (yes the S is missing no worries) and hit confirm. ![]() This will bring me to the main ABS interface menu where you have 3 options, win reloaded, auto upgrade and reset settings When you hit Win reloaded or Reload buttons you are greeted with these respective windows. The Win reloaded backup window will list whatever saved profiles you stored in bios CMOS Reloaded menu ![]() When you hit Reload button you will be first greeted with a 4 blank slots, where you click OPEN to select the saved ABS profile which when loaded will populate all slots which you saved with. You'd need to hit WRITE button to ABS to write to bios area to complete the restoration process. |
