Finally broke into 500mhz barier.

CPU: E6550 on CoolerMaster Gemini(mini review soon on this cooler)
Memory: gskill GBHZ PC6400 1gb x 2 kit
gpu: Power Color PCS ATI Radeon HD 3870 CF@800/1200
Mobo: Delay For Innovation LP X38 LT (Bios 12/07/07(Beta Bios)
HDD: Hitachi IDE 80gb 7200rpm
PSU: OCZ Power Stream 520 watt
OS: XP Pro SP3

Direct boot from Bios and load into windows

515mhz x 6. The key is to up the PLL Voltage. 2.38volt-Max for my case. Can someone bring attention to Oskar that hopefully the next Bios will provide more PLL Voltage
I was able to boot up at 535mhz x 6 on maximus Formula thanks to its 3.0volt of PLL.

SuperPi 32million.

Some Bios screenie for your reference.

ouuuuuuuuuuuch.. be careful CPU PLL above 1.7v can kill a cpu faster than 2.0v on vcore!

But nice results

Ya... I wil only up the PLL voltage as high as possible to gain high FSB for benchmark.

Rest of the day, I will set it o the lowest voltage availabe under Bios=)

Any run for CF on this mobo?? Awaiting yr CF results=)

Not yet... playing with bios modding my HD3850 CF trying to set 811/1000 default speeds but bios flash ain't working

With bios flash mod HD3850 CF doing 824/837mhz GPU and 1172mhz MEM. With stock bios my HIS HD3850 CF doing 783/1098 heh.

12/28 Beta Bios - 5:8 divider tests

Previously on 11/28 bios, certain memory dividers had stability issues. 4:5 divider couldn't do more than 440FSB, 3:5 divider had issues of stability even at 333FSB due to tight performance level of 4 and 5:8 divider wouldn't even allow system to boot regardless of cpu FSB set.

Now 12/28 beta bios http://www.dfi.com.tw/Support/Downlo...FLAG=B&SITE=US has at least moved one step closer, with fixing the 5:8 divider.

From 11/28 bios 5:8 no system boot, to 12/28 beta bios doing 400FSB 5:8 640Mhz 5-5-5-15 on memory! Having some difficulties tuning clock fine delay for above 400FSB on 5:8 so far since using 2x1GB Crucial Ballistix PC2-8500 Tracers on 2:3 divider manages upto 681mhz 5-5-5-x more easily!

5:8 divider needs slightly more vdimm than 2:3 divider but still pretty good for 640mhz 5-5-5-15 at 2.35v bios set.

@eva2000,

You flashed the 12/28 Bios using Winflash 1.92 or AWDFLASH method??

I can't flash this Bios unde winflash 1.92=(

If u flashed it using AWDFLASH method then I think I need to go and search around for my floppy drive=(
