Can the 4gb kits (2gb x 2gb) be overclocked like the 2gb kits? I seen a 4gb kit OCZ hyper x for $207.00 on directron.com. It has heat pipes coming out the top.

nice, longsiew but did you really need 1.6v CPU VTT ? can't go lower ?

quietus, they allow oc'ing but not as high as 2x1GB.. see http://i4memory.com/f67/ocz-hyperx-4gb-kit-2x2gb-5254-post83127/#post83127 Best to keep on topic and ask 2x2GB questions in that thread http://i4memory.com/showthread.php?p=83127#post83127

Ya. sad to say that on this DFI i need 1.6v for VTT in order to boot into OS. On Asus P5K Pro, I only need 1.5v(The lowest value in Bios)

Do you connect the two floppy connector on the mobo that are near to the PCI-E slots?? I only connected one as my PSU has only one connector to the floppy. Where on earth that I can get a PSU that comes with two floppy connectors=(

Currently having problem in CF during OC. It 'seems' that the power is not sufficient to gpus. (This is the one factor that I can think of for now)

Anyway for you to test tr HIS 3850 CF on this mobo with only one floppy connector connected to the mobo??

Thanks.

Anyway, here is some CF 3870 results on DFI LP X38 LT

GPUs are at stock for 03 and 06 run as now having problem with oced CF. For 05 run, it might due to my luck that the gpus at 835mhz still doing well. But most of the time when oc the gpus, system will hung during loading screen=(

Well I haven't tried 3850CF yet on this board so not sure on power delivery issues yet.

My Silverstone OP1200 has 2x FDD connectors hehe. But you can get 4pin molex to FDD power connector adaptor cables as well
