How stable is the BIOS? Is it buggy at all? I am trying like hell to find this board online but cant seem to find it. Newegg HAD it but its not even listed on their site any longer.

Im curious to see how my B3 Q6600 will perform.

scotty, you're Crucial PC2-5300 are gems - should share some more oc'ing results with us on i4memory.com with that pair

Bios is stable apart from some divider issues 3:5 and 4:5 are set too tight latency wise so performance is very good clock for clock but not very high clocks on ram compared to 2:3 and 5:6 divider. 5:8 doesn't work at all for now.. set way too tight as well I guess ? DFI working on the issues.

E6850 L720A489
@4005Mhz at 1.472v
@4107Mhz at 1.584v

Some quick 1hr Prime95 stability sessions just to find out how my E6850 L720A489 does on DFI LP LT X38-T2R.
  • 4005Mhz at 1.472v (1.3875v + 104.1% bios set) = Prime95 ~1hr
  • 4107Mhz at 1.584v (1.4875v + 103.77%) = Prime95 ~1hr (accidently overwrote the prime95 loaded screenshot when saving the post load idle one )

Wow lots of good info, thanks eva.

I would like to see some 4gb (4 x 1gb) with Ballistix Tracer 8500, do you have 4 of those?

Eva, thanks for all results! Great Info there!

Any plans for testing 4gb (4 x 1Gb) Ballistix Tracer 8500 on this board?

Thanks!

Thanks.. yes I have 22GB of Crucial Ballistix PC2-8500 hehe.. will do 4GB testing later though as 4x1GB takes ages to memtest compared to 2x1GB!

I have 2GB.... *envy*

Though, the Gigabyte P35-DS3P did over 4ghz on one of my quads with 4GB of DDR2, so im sure the X38 board will have no issues.
