it take s 15 minutes lol this is probably the only distro able to run P965 because of the absolute latest kernels they use according to cleary i installed it to get Beryl interface |

How handy an Ubuntu Live boot CD would be for such situations if they were allowed It would also make things easier for people like Maff who format before every bench session. ![]() Edit: never played with sidux Is it good all round & as user friendly like Ubuntu?

ubuntu i hate i could never get it right properly if you want any advice on linux there is ONLY one guy at OCAU that doesn't talk **** and that's cleary i am a total n00b at linux so you need to ask him about all this |

You're right MrRevhead, I've never been able to get Linux installed, I've tried a few times but it just left me totally mystified (not a difficult thing to do I know )It's a a bit wierd really, Linux is obviously a very efficient OS no question about it, but we hear almost nothing about overclocking or benching under linux. The way windows vista is going (40+ services by default) I wouldn't be surprised if there was a bit of a backlash, would certainly make things more interesting and gives us the clockers more options and avenues to explore. Good work dinos, very surprising and interesting result there mate. |

same here Maff freaking Linux is just too hard what makes a difference here is that this particular linux is easy to install and the best part is that on IRC on desktop link you have all the support you want man.......there are ****loads of people on there that are not smartasses and will help you with everything and give you spot on answer i had help for a few hours today from zulu9 and i know cleary is on there at least 8 hours a day too |
