The way your GX2 performs at stock, it should blow the rest out the water with a vmod . Still need to confirm this, but I'd maybe recommend TM's soldering points for the GX2. The surface mounted resitior on the top card of my GX, started to go belly up. Wouldn't hold a steady voltage, a bit of stress and the volts would hit OVP very quickly. I reckon the squealing sounds my card made, might have been a warning sign.lolAn update ![]() RLM |

I have an interesting result with my new E8600 on P45 @ 4.33 and comparing it to E7200 on X38 (P5E board) when it was at 4.3Ghz and 3Mb less in cache. Although the 4870 mem speed is 5mhz less in this run (Giga EP45-DS4P) the scores are practically indentical, out by 13 points. Only did one run in each rig so statistical abnormalities might be to blame but nevertheless I thought it was interesting to compare. ![]() E8600 4.33Ghz = http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm06=7761869 16598 E7200 4.3Ghz = http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm06=7604154 16583 |
