Hi this is my first post and i have bought 2x2gb of the new ic crucial Ballistix from Scorptech.
they are the 80a version.
I cant do 1200mhz 2.3v so iam thinking is this because of 2x2gb or there not Micron,
I thought i heard somewhere else they have power chips.
Am i wrong.

They're still Micron AFAIK, just a new revision. Reason is micron owns crucial and crucial exclusively uses micron ics

there truly good ram for what they can clock at for 4gb kit.
Iam glad i finaly got Micron ic ram.
I just hope these last longer than the old wons.

Crucial doesn't exclusively use Micron ICs, I've seen some of their DDR2-800 with Samsung chips.

thats what i heard.
these new ic revision are bar micron ic's.
But they do 2x2gb from stock 800mhz 1100mhz.
cant complain.
there been the best ram of had out of
OCZ ddr2-800 Platinum rev2 which wouldnt boot past 900.
Kingston Hyper X 8500 which i got ortho errors and prime errors 44ofsb.
I can do 450 with flying colers now at 2.0v and 1066 2.0v.
I like these new black crucial heatspreaders.
I might look under and see wot iv been granted by micron.
Micron make this memory they should use there ic's.
Just saving money and prepering for dedication to ddr3

I found my ram likes 5-4-5-10 at 880mhzt not 1056mhz
I tryed 4-4-4-10 at 880mhz but it would fail boot.
Heres a screeny?
Like these ram 2x2gb set.
