AUTO might auto adjust volts, always manually set voltages

Amazing how the FlexXLC scale. To boot even higher with 2x1GB FlexXLC PC2-9200 at PC2-1269 and above needed to raise NB volts from 1.5v to 1.65v

NB volt = 1.65v
  • 2.325v = PC2-1269 5-5-5-18 5-22-6-8-Auto-7-42-Auto = FAILED, Test #5 - 2 errors at 2nd pass
  • 2.350v = PC2-1269 5-5-5-18 5-22-6-8-Auto-7-42-Auto = FAILED, Test #5 - 10 errors at 7th pass
  • 2.350v + SB raised to 1.55v = PC2-1269 5-5-5-18 5-22-6-8-Auto-7-42-Auto = FAILED, Test #5 - 6 errors at 8th pass
  • 2.375v = PC2-1269 5-5-5-18 5-22-6-8-Auto-7-42-Auto = FAILED, Test #5 - 4 errors at 31st pass
  • 2.400v = PC2-1269 5-5-5-18 5-22-6-8-Auto-7-42-Auto = PASSED
  • 2.425v = PC2-1295 5-5-5-18 5-22-6-8-Auto-7-42-Auto = FAILED, Test #4 - 1 error at 1st pass, Test #5 - 12 errors at 1st pass
  • 2.450v = PC2-1295 5-5-5-18 5-22-6-8-Auto-7-42-Auto = Currently testing

Is there a way to log that information eva or do you just sit there with a bowl of popcorn and a softdrink and record the information by hand?

Either way, well done so far, everyone appreciates the effort and lengths you go to, to bring this information to us

No way to log it.. all done manually with pen & paper or keyboard & notetab/notepad

I always do this for every new memory module that I buy or receive - it's a must so you get to know the characteristics of the memory modules and how they perform in memtest86+ v1.70 first. I don't load windows until these prelim tests are done

So do you archive this info? I suppose by posting it here that's what you're doing

I'm thinking of getting a whiteboard myself so any handy info can be easily referenced and quickly updated


EDIT: That makes me think, how big is i4memory? We really only see the recently updated posts but I've had no problem finding anything going back to 2004. And with the amount of rubbish we drivvel on about that's alot of posts

So George, what is the actual Byte size of i4memory?

Yup i4memory.com adventure threads are basically my work log of my tests and results which i can search back on to reference stuff. Any member or visitor can search and find alot of juicy info and/or tips

i4memory.com database is around 70-80MB but all files and review images I uploaded amount to well over 600MB so far. Small for now but it will grow in time with every i4memory members' contributions

Here's the SPDTool and Thaiphoon Burner reported default SPD profile on these OCZ PC2-9200 FlexXLC modules

Why would you want to let a TV distract you ??????

With a pad and pen jotting away and a cup of tea between reboots (thats a 'kin LOT of tea ) theres not many things better than testing and recording a kits performance parameters

I know its expensive here, but in the U.S its not bad value.

You mean the 8500 Reapers ? i was tempted to try them but now i see 9200/9600 models are coming too so probably worth it to wait hehe
