| G.Skill 2GBHZ PC6400 review
I don't understand this review of the G.Skill 6400HZ http://www.anandtech.com/memory/showdoc.aspx?i=2867&p=1 there basically saying in the final words its average but good value for money, how can they say that when in most of the game tests the G.Skill keeps up with the expensive 1066 brands and even beats them a couple times,to me they should of said the G.Skill 2GBHZ PC6400 is as good as the hi end 1066+ stuff There doesn't really seem to be much gains by having 1066 ram compared to the 800mhz G.Skill, going by those game tests anyway. |

They must be using pretty tough stability criteria though. I'm surprised they need 5-5-5-15 timings to get to DDR1067 |

Could be later batches of HZ not as good or didn't really look at fine tuning their settings via memset etc ? My 3x sets of Gskill PC6400PHU2 HZ 0629 batch ![]() On P5W DH 1101 bios, 2 sets do 533mhz 4-4-4-12 at 2.4v and 1 set does 540mhz 4-4-4-12 at 2.4v. 563mhz 4-4-4-8 at 2.54v vdimm |

yeah its a strange review,i would of thought Anandtech would of added the Gskill PC6400PHU2 HZ with the other top class ram they have in the hi end ram section, anyway i just ordered some Gskill PC6400PHU2 HZ and im looking forward to giving it a go,i just hope i can get a good overclock like eva2000 got like 540mhz 4-4-4-12 at 2.4v
