Yeh I saw that too... I'm very happy with my current HZ's and won't hesitate to get them again. In DDR2 form that is.

im looking at getting a 2x512 ddr kit,

in terms of overclockability and keeping low latency, which kit would people say i should go with, im throwing up between,

corsair TWIN2X1024A-5400UL and
geil PC2-6400 800MHz DDR2 Ultra GX21GB6400UDC 4-4-4-12

Any recommendations or even other suggestions would be good,

You can identify the newer rev by the serial numbers on the memory - 1st four numbers >0605. New >0605 PC6400PHU2 HZ can do tRP of 3 as in 4-4-3 if you tighten them but i believe the official rating is still 4-4-4. These are same or similar Micron modules as Mushkin's new PC6400 4-4-3 part. < highly recommended
