Long time reader.... first time poster Ok, I know that recently some DDR667 VS ram had micron D9's on it and they were reaching DDR900 5-5-5-15 pretty easily. Does anyone know if they put D9's on the PC4300 (DDR533) VS chips? Im just looking for some cheap clocking ram as I cant go out and afford HZ or stuff ![]() Also if it was released does anyone know if their is a product code I should be looking out for? |

| Re: Corsair Value Select Modules By skootyloops The Corsair PC4300 DDR2 line (TwinX C3 series) mainly used Elpida IC's (Pro series used Micron), but some of the PC4200 VS lines used either Micron D9BQM (BP-37E), D9CHM (BP-37E), D9DQM (BP-5E) or Samsung ZC05.
By skootyloops Heres a list of the IC's used in their 667mhz range with product codes (just in case you change your mind
), unfortunately its a bit harder to find the specific codes for the PC42/4300 range: By Ram Guy I highly doubt Maxknott's are Micron based unless he can confirm by reading the IC's

| Re: Corsair Value Select Modules By MrRevhead Thanks for all that info. I knew some of it from reading links to forums with the codes for that but most I didnt know.
Now to check if Maxknott's ones are micron based |

Thanks for the kind words Alpha By skootyloops It's a bit harder to tell that way as that is Corsair's own specific coding.
I've managed to get the product codes on the 4200 VS line with Micron D9's: - PC4200 ValueSelect 4.0-4-4-11 @ 1.8V / CT2KIT3264AA53E - PC4200 ValueSelect 4.0-4-4-10 @ 1.8V / CT2KIT6464AA53E Also: PC4200 ValueSelect VS512MB533D2 - Micron BT-3/D9DQT relabeled als Corsair MHI00519 64M8CEC (512MB, ?-?-?-?, ?V) PC4200 ValueSelect VS512MB533D2 - ?? relabeled als Corsair MHI00452 32M8-37C (512MB, ?-?-?-?, ?V) PC4300 XMS2 TWINX 4200 - ?? (2x256MB, 4-4-4-12, ?V) Zwarte heatspreaders PC4300 XMS2 TWINX 4200 - ?? (2x512MB, 4-?-?-?, ?V) Zwarte heatspreaders PC4300 XMS2 TWINX 4300C3 - Elpida (2x512MB, 3-3-3-8, 1.8V) Zwarte heatspreaders PC4300 XMS2 TWINX 4300C3 - Elpida (2x1GB, 3-3-3-8, 1.8V) Zwarte heatspreaders PC4300 XMS2 TWINX 4300C3PRO - Elpida (2x512MB, 3-3-3-8, 1.8V) Platinum heatspreaders met LEDs PC4300 XMS2 TWINX 4300C3PROv1.1 - Micron (2x512MB, 3-3-3-8, 1.8V) Platinum heatspreaders met LEDs PC4300 XMS2 TWINX 4300C3PROv9.9 - Micron, 64Mx8, DDR2-533, CL4, Die Rev B (2x512MB, 3-3-3-8, 1.8V) Platinum heatspreaders met LEDs PC4300 XMS2 TWINX 4300C3PRO - Elpida (2x512MB, 3-3-3-8, 1.8V) Platinum heatspreaders VS512MB533D2, the product code of Maxknott's is said to be Micron D9DQT (BT-3) on SOME modules, you may want to ask Corsair Tech Support (Ram Guy) directly through The House of Help or Corsair Tech Xpress to decipher the M11100607 64M8CEC part. Also find out the SPD readings @ what nominal voltage from factory Maxknott's modules have, it may make things a bit easier when matching up with the info already posted. Best of luck |
