Yep put it into the system and powered on and the fans started up fo a microsecond then nothing, light on mobo was on...thats it. Put the Silverstone back in and it powered up without issue.  |

I tested one of these and it was rather lack luster to say the least. So it's either got a few bad batches or our friend Johnny got some cherry picked lovin' |

What about the Silverstone OP1000 ??? Fark, all the reviews I read about the Thermaltake 1200W were more than positive, did the green to black wire trick and it powers up a fan so it must be working wtf |

maybe you forgot to plug in 8pin ??? OP1000 probably best psu on the market right now.. from XS users it's also psu that has taken quad core cpus the highest for 3dmark benchable oc's on LN2/DI sub zero cooling  |

Well, since you salivated over it initially, I guess you can spit on it now.  Looks like a super PSU passes all tests with flying colors - ripple, noise, load regulation, line regulation http://www.pcper.com/article.php?aid...e=expert&pid=2 So, you are not even going to try a replacement unit? |
