| Did a small PSU mod... ![]() Added a pair of capacitors on each 12V rail, one 2200uF low ESR and one 100uF Tantalum ultra low ESR. ![]() Used textile insulation tape, it tends to last longer. ![]() Put it in thermal shrinking casing. ![]() ![]() Well, not all, as I was to lazy to dismantle 24pin connector, so it stayed "ghetto" ![]() ![]() Now, the results: - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - BEFORE - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - AFTER - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - IDLE (12.257V - 12.269V) - ![]() - VERY HEAVY LOAD KICKING IN (12.177V - 12.204V) - ![]() - CONSTANT HEAVY LOAD (12.222V - 12.257V) - ![]() -VERY HEAVY TO MEDIUM HEAVY LOAD TRANSITION (12.212V - 12.254V) - ![]() Heavy load was made with GTX580 under FurMark, as it pulls more then 990X under LinX,. That's it! My small PSU mod. ![]() |
