This is a discussion on I am looking a beefy power supply, need advice. within the Power supplies & UPS forums, part of the Hardware category; yeh probably... but the OCZ's aren't modular. Why dont they make powerful PSU's with modular cabling?...

I don't know about the other models but the silverstone 650W I had was pretty loud. I'm guessing that water cooling pumps make a fair bit of noise though so I doubt you'll notice it.

| Re: I am looking a beefy power supply, need advice. By eva2000 thats only because they are scared ppl will not fit the plugs properly also some power is lost just by using another connection, my Tagen modular is easily the best PSU I have ever used

I'm gonna check out some of the Tagen offerings. Not too sure how good my Antec True Power 2.0 550W is but I want something a bit beefier just for peace of mind. EDIT: Alpha, where did u get you PSU from? It dosen't look like anyone carries them in Aust. Oh and it's TAGAN not TAGEN! |

EYO sell Tagan PSU. I just open My Top power up to clean the dust out. The heatsink inside is huge, I also add a tvner to my PC  .700W OCZ GameXStreams is not even in australia yet, have to preorder and the price is expensive  .
