hehehe... is ur CPU seriously consuming that much power? that's ridiculous, lol... anway it appears i'd be overloading my PSU with my system at full load - but yeah this is the best PSU i've owned... doesn't even get warm... and on auto fan speed, it hasn't yet had the need to increase fan speed yet... hmmm... really proves antec and the like are way overrated... |

You've got a Wattage reader though, don't you eva? (either in a UPS or separately). If so, how accurate are these estimates? This is my main setup, running under a Powerstream 520W: ![]() ---dens |

Just did it again 'cause I forgot some stuff... Turns out that at 100% utilisation my PSU will be pretty much maxed out for its rating. I know it's peak is 620W but I was lead to believe that above it's rated max (about ~528W over all rails) it wasn't able to sustain it indefinately. If I were playing a game which maxed out my graphics card, while using F@H (taking all spare CPU cycles), then it would theoretically be at 100% load or close enough to it, right? ![]() ---dens |

This is from my current set up. ![]() Must admit I'm pretty happy with the new Enermax Liberty 620w power supply I got last week. 12v rails are rock solid at 12.27v even under full load, the 5v and 3.3v are also a little over and also very stable. I can't say that I totally agree with modular connectors it still gets messy. |
