Ok.. i think you know OCCT.. the soft is a little bit low for do complete test of stability, but it's better of SPI32M, a good alternative before go for a 4H of Prime test.. I use more for test the voltage stability... i enable speedfan and like this i can use the log report... it's allways interesting look the fluctuation during this test between a PSU and another.. The test is now multithread and permit have a good idea with dual-core of 12V rails stability... even if the speedfan is not accurated, the movement on rails can be trust.. even if with numbers, it's a blind shoot... - E6700 " 4.1Ghz ( 410x10, DDR@ 820 4-4-4-12) - 1.6375V in bios, result in 1.62V in Bios, 1.6V under windows ( speedfan and other soft report..) - OCCT (beta 3 version) test for this little session to 10 minutes ( instead you can set it to 30min in auto to 10hours if you will) ![]() ![]() I have exact same drop with other PSU's in Vcore... i can think it's the motherboard caused this.. Like you see there's a little drop at a certain time, but in real.. it's not happend during the full test... the 12V is set really high.. but i think Eva2000 is right... i think it's needed to forget the movement on 12V rails for this PSU's.. it seems OCZ have think to use a high level on 12V rails for allow user with High load on system to never pass under the 12V,.. in any case.... the PSU seems distribute the V load level between the need of your sys, the higher movement is when you bench under 3DMark with high OC on GPU's, high voltage set on the X1950/X1900 in CF.... ( games = no movement at all)... ( interesitng to see the movement stop during CPU test of 3D Mark) I can think OCZ have 2x 12V rails separate then to 4x 12V rails... the power need is balanced between this 2 primary rails.. but i can make a misstake.. This is not a review test, or anything at all.. i will need a new mulitmeter for this ( lol).. and like this value will be true.. here it's just a report.. in add.. i have just see this on OCZ site: the PowerStream 1KW ... 4x 20A... http://www.ocztechnology.com/product...m_power_supply |
