Was FUGGER using striker or evga 680i ?

4x 80GB Hitachi 7K80 SATAII raid 0 array to the Asus 680i Striker Extreme

A little update to this thread,

Have bought 3 more WD5000AAKS drives and set them up as 4x500Gb with a 40Gb Matrix RAID0 slice on my P5K Premium (ICH9R) I tried 128K stripe as it had been recommended but the performance was awful, so I switched back to 16k/4k like I've always used and the performance went to the level I expected, Still not as fast STR as Seagate Perps, but not bad either.

Here's the results:-
